To perform the installation, just click on the file to run it and then follow the step-by-step instructions. After installed, run SpeedCrunch using Start menu, All Programs, SpeedCrunch.
NEW! Now you can also run SpeedCrunch without the need of installing it. So if you don't have permission to install it on your system or you want to take it everywhere with you on your pen drive, for instance, just download the archive below, extract it and click on the executable file inside the directory. You can move the directory to any place and still run the application.

This bundle is Universal Binary and should work on Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), 10.4 (Tiger), and 10.5 (Leopard).
Note that SpeedCrunch packages available from various distribution are not necessarily the latest version.
Kubuntu
SpeedCrunch is the default desktop calculator. If it is not available, install it using the Adept package manager (search for speedcrunch) or by the following terminal command:
sudo apt-get install speedcrunch
Run SpeedCrunch using the K Menu, Utilities, Calculator.
Ubuntu
Install it using the command:
sudo apt-get install speedcrunch
Debian
Currently SpeedCrunch is part of Debian unstable. Install it using the command:
sudo apt-get install speedcrunch
Gentoo Linux
SpeedCrunch is now officially distributed in Gentoo Linux. Install it using the command:
sudo emerge speedcrunch
Fedora Core
SpeedCrunch is part of Fedora Extras and is provided by the package named speedcrunch. It can be installed using the graphical software management Pirut or by the following terminal command:
sudo yum install speedcrunch
OpenSUSE
SpeedCrunch is available from KDE Playground repository. After adding this repository to YaST (see the instructions), SpeedCrunch can be installed using YaST Software Management module or by the following command:
sudo yast -i speedcrunch
After installation, run SpeedCrunch using the SUSE Menu, Applications, Utilities, Calculator, SpeedCrunch.
Other distributions
For other Linux distributions, you can install SpeedCrunch by compiling it from source code. See the instructions below.
